HeartMath Institute (HMI) scientists are on an unprecedented journey to explore the hidden potentials of trees.
Compelling research suggests that the Earth's magnetic fields carry biologically relevant information that connects all living systems. This biologically significant data helps to synchronize, energize, and support the interconnection of these systems.
HMI scientists want to understand the role trees play in the discovery and aim to demonstrate how trees, people, nature and all living systems are interconnected in unseen and dynamic ways.
In this research undertaking, The HeartMath Tree Rhythms Research Project will seek to uncover:
-
A deeper understanding of how people and trees are connected.
-
Information about how trees respond to positive human emotions.
-
How trees communicate energetically with each other over large distances.
-
The uplifting effect that trees have on people.
-
How the collective emotions of people affect trees.
To study the untapped potential of trees, HMI developed a new sensor technology that measures the electrical activity within a tree and the surrounding earth. While there is research and insights on how trees communicate through chemical processes, there is far less known about the electrical life of trees.
Your generosity and care today will help further the Tree Rhythms Research.
As a HeartMath Monthly Giver
Your contribution of as little as $5 per month will help the institute conduct research and educate people about its findings. You’ll receive a free HMI Membership as an appreciation gift.
The HMI Research Center’s dedicated team is working diligently for a better future and world.
100% of your donation supports the vital work of our projects.
The HeartMath Institute does not use public donations for administrative or fundraising costs. Through sales and licensing we generate the funds necessary to cover our operating expenses. Your donations exclusively impact the many HMI research projects.

Nonprofit Status
Your gift is fully tax-deductible. HMI is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, educational and research corporation.
Your support of HeartMath Institute's research enables our scientists to continue their work in several key areas including; heart rate variability (HRV), social coherence, global coherence and interconnectivity. The interconnectivity research is focusing on the connection between people, and also between people, the earth and other living organisms. Your gift is fully tax-deductible.
