The Autonomic Assessment Report (AAR) provides a powerful heart rate variability (HRV) based assessment of functional capacity of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). It also helps detect abnormalities and imbalances in the ANS, determine the aging rate of the ANS and determine clients who are at increased risk of developing various pathologies often before symptoms develop.

The AAR is an 8-page report that includes age adjusted normative values for all of the time and frequency domain HRV metrics and includes the circadian rhythms (sleep cycle) of the various aspects of the ANS (heart rate, parasympathetic and sympathetic rhythms). The report includes a number of different graphs and figures that reflect your heart rate variability that facilitates easier interpretation and understanding.

During the recording period (not to be less than 20 hours) you will wear the HRV recorder called the Bodyguard which attaches to your torso using two disposable non-latex electrodes (sticky pads) while you attend the workshop, eat, sleep, and do your normal activities with the exception of: no sauna, no swimming, no bathing as the recorder cannot get wet. You can exercise during this time period as regular body sweat will not interfere with the collection.
